Battery and Dangerous Goods Logistics
International battery transport requires accurate classification, compliant packing and route-specific carrier approval. SHINEX reviews the cargo details before recommending express, air freight or sea freight options from China.
Support is available for shipments moving from Shenzhen and the wider Pearl River Delta, including larger consignments that may require pickup, consolidation and document review. Final acceptance depends on cargo condition, UN classification, destination and carrier rules.
Dangerous Goods Shipping Services
Lithium Battery & Dangerous Goods Logistics
SHINEX reviews the cargo classification, battery specifications, documents and packing before recommending an express, air-freight or sea-freight option. Acceptance depends on the actual product, UN number, packing configuration, route and carrier rules in effect when the shipment is booked.
A quotation is only useful when the shipment details match the cargo offered to the carrier. Our review normally covers:
Damaged, defective or recalled batteries require a separate review and must not be presented as ordinary battery cargo.
| Option | Typical use | What must be confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Express | Smaller commercial shipments where an approved courier or specialist line is available. | Commodity acceptance, account/channel rules, destination coverage and final-mile restrictions. |
| Air freight | Time-sensitive cargo that meets the applicable classification, documentation and packing requirements. | UN classification, packing instruction, state of charge where applicable, airline approval and airport routing. |
| Sea freight | Heavier or less urgent consignments moving as LCL or FCL, subject to vessel and port acceptance. | IMDG classification, declaration, packing, container or consolidation requirements and destination handling. |
The carrier name alone does not confirm acceptance. The exact service is selected after the cargo and route have been reviewed.
You can contact us before these documents are complete. For formal shipment review, the required document set varies by battery type, route and carrier and may include:
Documents must describe the actual goods. A test report for a different model cannot be used to replace the correct product information.
Packing is assessed against the product, shipping configuration and applicable transport rules. The review normally checks protection against short circuit, movement and accidental activation, suitable inner packaging, a sound outer package and the required marks or labels.
Do not apply a label only because it appeared on a previous shipment. Marks and labels must match the final classification and packing instruction confirmed for the current cargo.
For larger shipments, pickup may be arranged in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Huizhou, Foshan and Zhuhai after the cargo details are confirmed. Smaller shipments can be sent to a designated consolidation point when that option is suitable for the selected service.
Send a product name or photo, the origin and the destination country. We will help identify which transport options can be assessed and what information to provide next.
